The Wake County restaurants that need your service this week

Each Monday we send a short call list of Wake County restaurants that health inspectors just cited for problems you fix: pests, cleaning, refrigeration, or certified-manager gaps. Four categories; the first 3 vendors in each get a $49/mo founding rate.

How it works

No software to learn. A list lands in your inbox every Monday morning, ready for your sales calls.

We read every inspection

Wake County publishes restaurant inspection results as public open data. We pull every new inspection and violation each week.

We filter for your trade

Each citation is sorted into a vendor category using the inspector's code and notes, so a pest company sees pest problems, not cooler temperatures.

You get a Monday list

An email with CSV and Excel attachments: restaurant, address, town, phone where listed, inspection date, what was cited, the inspector's note, and a repeat flag.

Who it's for

Local service businesses that sell to restaurants in Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Morrisville, Garner, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina and the rest of Wake County.

🐜

Pest control

Flies, insects, rodent entry points, missing air curtains, gaps around doors.

🧼

Commercial cleaning

Soiled food-contact surfaces, ice machines, floors, walls and equipment build-up.

❄️

Refrigeration & temperature

Cold holding above 41°F, slow cooling, failing coolers and gaskets.

🎓

Food-safety manager / PIC training

No certified food protection manager on site, or a person in charge who could not show required knowledge.

What a list looks like

SAMPLE — These rows are real citations taken from Wake County's public inspection data (inspections Oct 15–22, 2026), shortened for space. Restaurant names are hidden on this public sample. A paid list has every matching restaurant for the week, with name, address and phone.

Disclaimer: Excerpts are quoted from Wake County's public inspection records as published on the inspection date shown. A citation is one inspector's observation at one point in time; many items are corrected on the spot or shortly after, and nothing here says a restaurant is unsafe today. FAQ

Where does the data come from?

From Wake County's public restaurant inspection open data (restaurants, inspections and violations), which the County publishes for public use. We add the category filtering, cleanup and weekly delivery.

Is this endorsed by Wake County?

No. Cited Kitchens is an independent business and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wake County or any government agency.

Is the list an official or legal record?

No. It is a convenience summary for sales prospecting and is not a legal record. Data can lag, change or contain errors. For official inspection results, use wake.gov/food.

What exactly is in each row?

Restaurant name, address, town, phone where the County record has one, inspection date, the code cited, the inspector's note, and whether it was marked as a repeat.

How does the founding rate work?

Each of the four categories has 3 founding slots at $49/mo, locked for 12 months. Once a category's founding slots are taken, anyone can still subscribe at the standard $79/mo rate.

When does the list arrive?

Every Monday morning (Eastern Time) in an email with the list attached as CSV and Excel files.

How do I cancel?

Anytime, from the billing portal link in your receipt or on this page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month, and you keep getting lists until then. We do not offer refunds; if a scheduled Monday list is not delivered by the end of the next business day, we credit your account with a free week, no claim needed. See the cancellation & refund policy.

I'm a restaurant and I see my business listed. What can I do?

Our lists only repeat what the County already publishes. If something we show differs from the official record, email [email protected] and we will check it against the County data and correct it.
